Prof. Francisco Trivinho-Strixino graduated in chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos in 2001. He holds a Master's Degree in Physical Chemistry at the same university in 2003 and a Ph.D. in Sciences with a major in Chemical Physics in 2007. His scientific abilities and interests are based on fundamentals of electrochemical materials, in particular plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) films, nanostructured films (LbL), anodic doping, aluminum, zirconium, titanium anodization, metal electrodeposition, nanoporous anodic alumina (NAA), TiO2 nanotubes (TiO2-NTs) conductive polymers, and polyaniline. Since 2009 he is part of the UFSCars’s professors staff. Up to now, he published 30 scientific articles and two book chapters, with almost 420 citations (index H: 10). From 2013 to 2015 he held the position of vice head of department of chemistry, physics, and mathematics (DFQM-UFSCar) and from 2016 to 2019 was the head of the Materials Science Program at Sorocaba UFSCAR (PPGCM-So).
